While browsing one of my favorite websites—Juxtapoz.com, I stumbled upon this list of "Top 25 Modern Beer Labels". I thought this post would be relatable to our Packaging project to those who need some inspiration.

Here's a couple I admire a lot. I like that handdrawn graffiti effect on these labels. I've never tasted them personally but the way it's presented would definitely entice me.
I love the article! I noticed the hand-drawn, almost vintage look of several beer bottles while looking for packaging inspiration so I love the contemporary styles in these labels! The label for Magic Rock Brewing Company is so great with distinguishing the different kinds through the use of different colors, with only one color used per label. The 21st Amendment Brewery labels are also so interesting because they are influenced with the vintage style, but modernize it with an edgy typeface and solid, contrasting shapes and colors.
ReplyDeleteI love to look at beer labels, and the creativity that goes into them. I always take too long picking out beer because I like to spend time just browsing the labels. I sometimes choose beer just for the label!
ReplyDeleteBeer labels are awesome! Some of the best illustrations I have seen in the past few months have been on beer labels. Beer labels are probably some of the most artistic labels I have seen.
ReplyDeleteThese labels are fun to browse through. My favorite one so far is the "Mac's Spring Tide" rendition. The simple metallic-blue design makes the beer appear more thought out. Although some of these have neat objects and artistic values, the type-heavy labels seem to pop out to me.
ReplyDeleteThese labels are very intriguing. From what I can see most of them are kept within the limitations of bottle labeling. Having the top and torso label. The detail that goes into each label is so intricate. Very impressive.
